COMPLETE DENTURES
Complete Dentures are made after the teeth have been removed and the healing of the gum tissue is completed. With the proper care, the wearer can use this device for a long period of time until a new one is needed from normal wear and tear or when it no longer fits due to normal gum and bone shrinkage resulting from the natural aging of the mouth.
Immediate Complete Dentures are made in advance and can be placed in the mouth immediately after the teeth are removed. That way the wearer does not have to be without teeth during the healing period. This denture will require multiple adjustments as the bones and gums shrink during the healing period following tooth removal. Unlike conventional complete dentures, which are designed as a definitive or long term solution, Immediate Complete Dentures are used as a temporary solution until the mouth has healed and is ready for conventional complete dentures.
